What we collect and why

• Free scan. The website address you enter is sent to Google's PageSpeed Insights API to produce the report. We store the address, the pass ratio and the failing checks so the report can be referenced if you buy.
• Email. If you enter your email to see the detailed results, we store it with the scanned address and the result. We email you updates only if you tick the box that says so; we store the time, source and wording of that consent. Emails we send contain an open-tracking image and links that pass through links.agentsdoorbell.com, so we can see whether an email was opened and which link was clicked; mail clients that block images or prefetch them hide opens from us.
• Orders. Payments are processed by Stripe; we receive your email, the amount and the Stripe references, never your card number. The files we generate for you are stored privately until delivered.
• Deep scan. For paid orders our crawler fetches a small set of well-known paths and the homepage of the site you ordered for. See about the crawler.

Advertising and conversion measurement

We advertise on Google Ads. When you arrive from an ad, Google adds a click identifier (gclid, gbraid or wbraid) to the address. We keep it for your visit and attach it to your scan, your email signup and, if you buy, your order, so we can tell Google which clicks led to a scan, a lead or a purchase. For leads we may send Google a hashed form of your email (enhanced conversions). The Google tag on this site reports the scan and lead events. You can opt out of personalised advertising in your Google ad settings.

Cookies and storage

We do not set our own cookies. The browser's session storage keeps the click identifier and whether you have already unlocked a report during your visit. Google's tag may set cookies as described in Google's policies.

If we wrote to you first

We find businesses through Google's Places data and the contact address published on their own website, scan the public site, and send a short email with a link to that site's report. We never buy lists or guess addresses. Every such email has a one-click unsubscribe; an unsubscribed address is never emailed again. We send at most three emails to a business, and none after a reply or a report view that opts out.

Who we share data with

Stripe (payments), Bird (email we send to customers and subscribers), Google (PageSpeed Insights, Places, Ads measurement), Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage), and our cold-email provider [COLD_EMAIL_TOOL] for first-contact emails only. Each processes data under its own terms. We do not sell personal data.

Retention and your rights

Scan results are kept for [RETENTION_PERIOD]. Order records are kept as long as tax law requires. Suppression records are kept permanently so we do not email you again. Write to hello@agentsdoorbell.com to access, correct or delete your data.
